Microsclerotherapy.
If you are bothered by thread veins on your legs you may be able to have a microsclerotherapy procedure to reduce their appearance.
Microsclerotherapy is a treatment for thread veins which involves injecting a chemical substance called “sclerosant” into the veins. The sclerosant irritates the walls of the veins and causes them to become inflamed and stick together. The vein will then disintegrate during the healing process.
This treatment isn’t appropriate for everyone so we are required to carry out an hour long assessment of your general health, blood pressured and vascular health before proceeding.

If you are feeling unwell or think there might be a medical reason for your symptoms of tiredness, skin issues or hair loss you must see your GP to discuss. Further to this, treatment may be delayed if your Advanced Nurse Practitioner feels you must seek investigations with your GP first.
